The International Aircraft Dealers Association, commonly known as IADA, is one of the most respected organizations in the business aviation industry. IADA is made up of leading aircraft dealers, brokers, OEMs, and aviation service companies that are committed to raising standards across aircraft sales and acquisitions. Its broker certification program was created to help establish a clear benchmark for knowledge, professionalism, and ethical business practices in aircraft transactions.
Passing the IADA Certified Broker exam is not simply a formality. The certification process is designed to validate a broker’s understanding of aircraft transactions, market dynamics, documentation, ethics, and the responsibilities that come with representing buyers and sellers. The exam is administered through an independent third party, and IADA-Certified brokers also pursue continuing education through IADA U, helping ensure their knowledge stays current in a constantly evolving market.
