SOLJETS experienced record success in 2021, concluding the year with the highest number of transactions since their origination in 2015. To continue this trajectory, the firm recognized the need for additional support in their operations department. They welcomed Jan Otrusinik to the team as a designated Sales Analyst in October of 2021. Analysts fulfill a key element for the company’s unique business model, providing the necessary data to propel swift and seamless transactions.
Jan is an alumnus of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He earned an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Economics, with an emphasis in Statistical Analysis. His previous employment experience required the utilization of multiple technical applications to provide research and analysis within the financial sector. His most recent position was with Fidelity Investments where he held the role of International Trader.
“It is essential to the development of our team that we not only find members who will be a great fit for each position but will also enhance the culture we’ve developed at SOLJETS. Jan was a great match for both, and we are excited to have him on board,” said Ryan Crawford, SOLJETS’ Chief Technology Officer. “His skills will be a great asset to the company and his background in finance and economics allows for a greater scope of our capabilities.”
Jan’s primary responsibilities include updating industry information to accurately reflect real-time market conditions, utilizing multiple research tools to thoroughly capture the history and specifications of each aircraft, and conducting detailed valuation analyses for inventory and listing agreements.
“It’s a great pleasure to have joined the SOLJETS firm where I can learn from the deep expertise of the rest of the team and serve as an analyst to guide clients through the dynamic aircraft market with our sophisticated analytics,” said Jan Otrusinik.
Jan works out of SOLJETS’ headquarters located in Park City, Utah. Like many Park City residents, Jan takes advantage of the ski slopes and mountain biking trails while he is away from the office.
