Position Summary
As a Sales Director at SOLJETS, you will be responsible for originating and managing aircraft brokerage and acquisition opportunities throughout the United States and other approved markets. Your primary focus will be identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and representing clients through every stage of the transaction. You will work closely with Sales Analysts and internal teams to deliver an exceptional client experience from initial engagement through closing and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a personal business development strategy to achieve annual sales goals and grow market share.
- Partner with Sales Analysts to develop proposals, market summaries, aircraft valuations, aircraft comparisons, and other client presentation materials.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, monitor key performance metrics, and proactively manage opportunities through the sales cycle.
2. Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and formulate effective plans to penetrate the market.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience that results in repeat business, referrals, and long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with aircraft owners, operators, family offices, flight departments, OEMs, lenders, maintenance providers, and other industry partners to generate new business opportunities.
- Represent SOLJETS at industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and networking opportunities to strengthen the company's brand and generate new business.
3. Market Analysis
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments that may impact the private aircraft market.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft values, market availability, ownership trends, and competitive inventory.
4. Budget & Forecasting
- Manage business development and client entertainment budgets responsibly to maximize return on investment while supporting sales objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and pipeline reporting to support company planning and revenue projections.
5. Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with Sales Analysts, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and leadership to ensure seamless transaction execution and an exceptional client experience.
- Communicate regularly with leadership regarding pipeline activity, market intelligence, transaction status, and sales performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred with demonstrated success in business development, sales, private aviation, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within private aviation, business aviation, charter, aircraft maintenance, or luxury services.
- Strong knowledge of private aviation, aircraft ownership, and business aircraft transactions.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently develop business while collaborating effectively across the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Willingness to travel within your designated region as required to meet with clients and support the sales team.
